Who We Are

More than a team. It's a lifestyle.

Successful Degenerates is a disc golf club born in the Carolinas. We're a crew of real friends who road trip to courses, compete in tournaments, and talk trash the entire way there and back.

We traveled together to the Myrtle Beach Open in 2025 and we're gearing up for the 2026 Masters World Championships. Whether it's a casual round or a sanctioned event, we show up loud, play hard, and rep the brand.

This isn't a corporation. It's a crew. And we're always looking for the next degenerate to join the ride.

Founded the chaos. This is all his fault.

Director of Misinformation

Master of fiction. Will confirm plans he never intends to keep with a completely straight face. Has trained us all to trust absolutely nothing he says.

James Collins

Forehand-Only Forensic Accountant

Doesn't throw backhands. Doesn't count strokes. Veteran, business owner, and the only man alive who can lose track of his score on hole 3.

Aaron Behnke

Chief Foot Fault Officer

Inventor of the Behnke Leg. Every throw is a dance move, and every lie is six inches past the pad. Somewhere he's designing a KPI for this.

Ernesto Urrutia

Minister of Hype

The most positive man in disc golf. Will gas up your 30-footer like you just hit the game winner. Consistent on the course, consistent with the love.

DJ Skinner

Short King / Actual DJ

Spins records and forehands. Recently added backhands to the setlist after his arm filed a complaint. Oversees road construction by day, measures 5-nothing by night.

Evin Catoe

Head of Hydration

Stays well-hydrated on the course. Talks the most trash out of anyone in the crew. Designs things at work and chaos everywhere else. Often needs a ride.

Jef Kempf

Part-Time Degenerate

Would love to stay for round two but his wife has him on a schedule. Talks more trash than he throws discs, and vanishes by 2pm. Usually found wherever Ernesto is.

Micah Roberts

Lefty Liability

The only southpaw in the crew. Can launch a disc into the next zip code but can't promise which one. Summer dad. Every-other-week player. Big arms, big swings.

Todd Starnes

Endangered Species

Sightings are rare and must be reported. Shows up a few times a year if the stars align and he gets a hall pass. No relation to Joe.

We're a disc golf club based in the Carolinas. A crew of friends who compete in tournaments, road trip to courses, and rep custom jerseys while doing it. Think of us as your future disc golf family.

You have to be willing to get better and not cry about a bad round (publicly). Skill level doesn't matter — attitude does. If you show up, throw plastic, and bring good energy, you're in.

The Carolinas — North and South. Most of us are spread across the region but we link up for rounds, tournaments, and road trips regularly.

We hit events throughout the Southeast. We attended the Myrtle Beach Open in 2025 as a full squad and we're headed to the 2026 Masters World Championships next. We're always looking for the next one.

The official club jersey is for members only — that's what makes it special. But we'll have other merch available for anyone who wants to rep the brand.
